The Bunker

The Bunker is a club for children aged 8+ and still at primary school. The Bunker meets every two weeks on Fridays from 7-8:30 p.m. You don’t have to belong to the church to go to the Bunker.

We do all sorts of activities, indoors and outdoors and these have included a baking session, movie nights, doing sports on the school field, orienteering and a guided walk with a local historian to learn about the history of our town. Our meetings always include "Time for Change" when we stop for a few minutes to think about spiritual or moral issues and we always have juice and biscuits too!

TGB GATEHOUSE or The Gatehouse Bunker to give it its full name, is constituted as a separate registered charity from the church in order to provide activities for people in our local area. Children's activities include a primary-aged youth club, Bunkeroo Performing Arts Group and a weekly Homework Club in the primary school.  Our office and base for most of our small-group activities are at 1 High Street together with the Wee Shop, an outlet for local crafters.   All money raised through TGB fundraising events is solely for the use of their own activities.
